Listen up

I feel the need for a good rant, so y'all better listen up.

I am so fucking sick of some of the people I used to call friends. Indeed one of which I called my friend up until very recently. It's quite unbelievable the sheer cruelty you can find in the human race, even just in the little things. I'm not talking about war, or anything like that, but in every day life. For example, reading out someone's diary to a group of people in what some would deem a "bitchy" or "satirical" voice is extremely cruel. What these people don't realise, and neither do the people laughing along with it, that it is someone's whole life you are ridiculing.

Another thing I wish to say is that it has come to my attention recently that someone I called a friend is in fact no friend at all, if any other people wish to step forward and claim their hate for me, just fucking do it, I don't give a shit about it, or indeed about you. Finding this out about someone I highly respected has made me wonder about who secretly hates me and won't let on, but I urge you to just do it and stop being a chicken shit.

Good day to you.

Oh, owch, but I'm not the one who put a "private" diary on the internet, so you might wanna rethink who it is that you're calling a prat =/

And, don't worry, we knew it was someone's life we were ridiculing, we just didn't really care. Sorry.

Lolgasm j/k, I'm not actually sorry =]

Inmate 4 said...

Wow.

Amazing how nasty people can be when they have a vendetta.

Listen, I'm going to say this once and back away slowly. I still like you guys. All of you. But reading responses like this paints possibly the most depressing picture of my friends. If you don't like Aisling, folks, then stay off her blog and keep all your heartless comments to yourself. Because the comments above? I suggest that you all rethink the definition of 'prat'.

Joseph, stop now. We all know your feelings about Ais. Bury the fucking hatchet or just leave her alone, because your not making a statement.

Robbie, I'm not sure whether you're siding with Joseph as his friend or just being a bitch, but rubbing salt into Ais' wounds.

Meesh, I'm shocked. I used to think you were such a nice sunny person, capable, at the very least, of showing some restraint instead of kicking a person when they're down.

And Ais, this seems to happen a lot. When you post your feelings on the internet where people can find them, I suggest you ignore any comments, because otherwise people are going to start trying to get a rise out of you. If you don't like it, don't post. That's the only method that seems to work.

I'm trying to stay neutral on the subject here, as taking sides makes things all the worse (as illustrated neatly by everyone above) but I was hoping that people wouldn't resort to metaphorical hair pulling. Either make amends or back off, because no-one is proving anything here.

By His Own Design said...

i have to say... staying neutral is becoming very difficult...

To err is human, to forgive is divine.

Ais said...

Thanks Helen. One thing to add though, Joseph, Meesh and Robbie are pathetic pieces of shit. You're evil and you're disgusting. So stay the fuck off my blog, I'll just delete any further comments you make.

Robbie said...

Hahah, evil and disgusting, eh? Well, just think about it for a second, have a look over the comments that we've made, what exactly is evil about them? They may be against you, but come on, it's like you're trying to denounce us as terrorists. In all seriousness, stop with the stupid name-calling.
We're not a little hate group, we're not here to hurt you, we all just happen to find this post offensive. We all have very different opinions of you, Joe thinks that you're a witch, Meesh wants to hurt you, and I think that you just don't have a conscience.
Does EVERYTHING have to turn into good against evil anyway? It's like you're trying to dennounce us as terrorists, Ais, if this comment wasn't an attempt at being serious, I'd laugh.
One more thing, Helen, 'not taking sides' eh? Yeah fucking right, Aisling wouldn't have added to your comment if that were the case, and I doubt she would have thanked you. Not taking sides doesn't usually involve taking a paragraph each to reproach one side's views, while lending sympathy to the other's. Please stop trying to be a mediator, it's not going to solve anything, especially if you do take sides.
Now we come to where I make a point. Doesn't Aisling's post clearly provoke people expressing their dislike of her? To me it looks like she thought "Right, clearly alot of people don't like me, but this is a chance to get people on my side. I'll provoke those who don't like me, and go for sympathy! They'll never notice that what I've said is a bunch of hypocrisy, 'cause I'm the queen of manipulation."
I'm starting to get quite annoyed now, I'll stop for now.
I don't really see the point in deleting further comments, you seem pretty confident that you're correct, if you're right, what can we do to change people's minds?
One last note, 'SHAZAM!' indeed...twat.

Robbie said...

Seems I took 'one more thing' a bit far.

I know everybody on the planet hates Radiohead (PHILISTINES!) but their song "Just" should be given a spin by Aisling.

Inmate 4 said...

I think that Ais has blamed herself enough, actually. Much as I appreciate the message of the song, I think she took it to heart at the very beginning. As for you, cebo, I suggest you do the same, as you have a record of blaming all but yourself.
As Thom sung in another more recent song, 'The pot will call the kettle black'.

Inmate 4 said...

I wasn't taking sides, I also pointed out Ais' folly in putting down such posts and then not expecting to be slagged. However, I was one of the few people who wasn't actually ripping her a new one, so in contrast, maybe it did look like I was taking her side.
Nor do I endorse her subsequent insulting of you, or any of her past actions. I just didn't say 'Ais, I hate you' either. Maybe I have a significantly greater capacity for forgivness here, considering I have as much reason as or even more reason than most of the posters here to hate her but don't, but I don't particularly like to destroy a person for their mistakes when they are already in the process of hating themselves.
'Queen of manipulation'? No, it was actually a rant which was premature, casting someone who Ais really thought hated her (second mentioned), but actually wanted to remain out of all of... this. Emotional, overraught, but not, as you say, manipulative. Ais is human, and one who hasn't exactly had the best few weeks. Considering that people under such conditions usually have at least one outburst such as this, what makes you seem so surprised? At least she had the decency not to mention names, thus leaving it up to guesswork to people less familiar with recent events. Also, if what you say is true, then your posts above could be considered manipulation as well, as trying to speak out against such backlash results in even more levelled at yourself, and makes it a pretty difficult thing to do. Why the hell I'm typing this I'm not sure, because it's probably going to be ignored or interpreted as an outright attack on 'your side' - which, again, isn't exactly my intention, but it'll probably look like that because it's so bloody difficult to appear neutral here.

'We're not a little hate group, we're not here to hurt you, we all just happen to find this post offensive. We all have very different opinions of you, Joe thinks that you're a witch, Meesh wants to hurt you, and I think that you just don't have a conscience.'
That is a contradictory paragraph, and I'd like to know what you thought you were gaining from that apart from another chance to make Aisling feel like shit.

'Doesn't Aisling's post clearly provoke people expressing their dislike of her?'
Lets be precise here. Ais is expressing anger at her current situation and at other people's treatment of her, in much the same way as pretty much everyone else has previously expressed anger by their dismissal of her, slagging and general hostility PRIOR TO THIS POST. She has been provoked as much as you have, and no matter what she's done, you cannot deny her right to be angry as well. Nor can you simply dismiss the efforts of her friends to either try and stick up for her or at least express disgust at the manner in which people are acting. However, it seems that I have suddenly become an enemy because I haven't crucified her along with everyone else. Not my intention. As I said, in my response, I STILL LIKE YOU GUYS. What I was also trying to say is that, quite frankly, this has all gone too far, and that instead of hanging around waiting for another opportunity to grind someone's face further into the dust we should go away, drop the subject, and get on with our lives. The subject of your anger has suffered enough. Leave her alone, and she'll do the same.

Also, that wasn't so much as an attack on Meesh as a show of surprise at her, and everyone else's, behaviour.

Helen, why in the world are you surprised at my behaviour? Admittedly, I was harsh, probably harsher than most but I only came into it because she made an attack at me:

It seemed to me that if she was trying to bring me into it in such a manner then she probably wanted to provoke a response. So I gave her one.

I'd like to thank Jack for that comment. I agree, it was HIM that I hurt in all of this, and I don't see why it's any of your business to hate me. If you do have a problem with me, leave me alone. I have no interest in keeping touch, or knowing any of you, so just stay off my blog. I have every reason to be angry with the people that have taken it upon themselves to humiliate me, broadcast my secrets and try and turn friends against me. And btw, my post was not meant as a provocation, it was meant as a rant. And since it is my blog, I can rant about anything I want. Also, I can justify the slagging off of this, because this situation extends beyond this post, and if it was a a mere conflict in the agreement of what I wrote, I wouldn't be complaining.

I've decided not to delete the comments on the basis that I want people to see how horribly you're behaving, maybe people will see how awful you are.

[side note - i just got cottage cheese all over me] Unfortunately saying sorry would seem a bit insincere, but if you know me as a sincere person, I'm sorry for being such a cunt. I'm not asking for forgiveness from you Ais (or anyone else for that matter), because I don't want it, but recently I've noticed that sometimes slagging people can be funny to alot of people, but you can sit on the sidelines and wonder how the fuck it all happened.
